The voice behind the songs
From Koma Gulên Xerzan to her own compositions, Rojda has spent her career carrying Kurdish songs forward.
ROJDA – ARTIST BIO Rojda was born in Kurtalan, Siirt. Her musical journey took shape in Istanbul during the 1990s through her work with Koma Gulên Xerzan and the Mesopotamia Cultural Center, where she became deeply connected to the Kurdish oral storytelling tradition.
